Help combat local hunger by supporting Empty Bowls Monongalia!

Empty Bowls is a project of the Imagine/Render Group, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to positive and lasting social change through the arts, education and projects that build community.

In just four years, Empty Bowls Monongalia has grown into a community-wide effort aimed at helping the hungry and educating the public.  The $21,000 raised from last year's event was distributed to 13 food pantries and feeding programs in Monongalia County, serving over 3,500 families.

This year's luncheon is Saturday, February 25 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Hazel and J.W. Ruby Community Center at Mylan Park, off of Chaplin Hill Road.

Tickets are available for purchase for a minimum donation of $15 which entitles the ticket holder to a hand-crafted bowl and all-you-can-eat soup and bread.
